SYLLABUS

Theoretical Part

The Course covers the fundamental principles and workflow of digital prepress. Analysis and file repair, color correction, trapping, color proofing, RIPs and screened separations. Structure of Digital Printed Products, Technological Capabilities, Digital Description of the Printed Page, Digital Screening Processes, Quality Requirements, Input and Output Resolution, Transferable Tonal Range, Dot Shape, Tone Value Influences in Printing, Color Management Profiles. Handling of text/images, planning, assembly, Proofing, print specifications, standardization, Computer‐to‐print and beyond.

Laboratory  Part The educational purpose of the laboratory part includes exercises based on the theory mentioned above. particularly development of projects with the use of special software (Adobe Suite ) in specialized forms of printed products and advanced software functions for the successful processing of working
