The World Greek Language Day (an initiative of the Professor of Greek Studies in Naples, Giannis Korinthiou), was established in 2017 by the Greek Parliament, which was responded to the call of many organizations around the world to recognize the importance of the Greek language.
The films, screened at the Sala dei Baroni in the magnificent Castle of Maschio Angioino in Naples, were produced by the voluntary initiatives of the members of the academic community of the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication of the University of West Attica.
The occasion for the production of the films, were three texts from the competition “The Greek language is a soul”, co-organized by the Greek Department of IBBY and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The audience enthusiastically welcomed the films in the packed hall of the castle.
